Von Miller reacts to Broncos signing Case Keenum over Kirk Cousins

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller made it no secret this offseason that he wanted general manager John Elway to sign quarterback Kirk Cousins during NFL free agency.

Now that Elway has chosen Case Keenum instead of Cousins, Miller is changing his tune.

“Looks/Feels right to me!” Miller said in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “We got what we were looking for! Franchise QB that’s the perfect fit for DENVER! @johnelway with the deep 3 pointer! Like always! Leeettttss Goooo!!! @casekeenum7 @casekeenum7 Time for me to hold up my end of the deal now!”

Keenum, 30, is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Broncos worth about $36 million. Cousins, who is also 30, is expected to sign a three-year, $84 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings.

Elway made the right decision, according to the always-positive Miller. Given how much the linebacker lobbied for Cousins this offseason, some fans may have a hard time believing his support is completely genuine.

But at least publicly, Miller supports the move.
