ROGER FEDERER SETS SIGHTS ON 100 TITLES FOLLOWING NO. 1 RETURN

Having become the sport's oldest No. 1, Roger Federer is turning his attention to another goal—100 titles.

Federer will move in front of Rafael Nadal in the rankings next week following his run in Rotterdam.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion will now look to add to his 96 career titles as he plays the final against Grigor Dimitrov.

"My next goal is to win the title here," Federer told press, adding, "To reach 100 titles during my career, it would be special."

Federer is second all-time among male players for titles won, behind Jimmy Connors's record 109 titles.

But he's more cautious about chasing that number, saying, "I will not start competing in all [ATP] 250 and 500 events to break that record."

Instead, Federer intends to concentrate on defending some of his big titles, starting with the ATP 1000 Masters events in Indian Wells and Miami.

Federer will also extend the record 302 weeks he has spent in the top spot.
