Erwee steadies Dolphins, Cobras strike

AGATHANGELOU GUIDES TITANS AFTER MOKOENA CARRIES BAT THROUGH

Andrea Agathangelou produced a fluent 46 to steer the Multiply Titans to 132 for two at tea, still a first-innings deficit of 231 against the VKB Knights at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein on Friday.

The Titans were rocked by the offspinner Werner Coetsee early on, when he bowled Dean Elgar for 16.

Duanne Olivier added the scalp of Tony de Zorzi, bowling him when on 33.

But Agathengelou and Heino Kuhn added a half-century partnership off only 61 balls which included nine fours, an indication of their attacking intent.

Grant Mokoena produced a brilliant unbeaten 154 and featured in a free-flowing 65-run partnership with Marchant de Lange to power the VKB Knights to 363 in their first innings.
