Brighton target Bruno Peres is edging closer towards a move to Turkey after Roma entered negotiations with Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old full-back has been a peripheral figure at Roma this season and the club are interested in listening to offers for the defender in the winter transfer window.
The defender has generated interest from the Premier League and Brighton are reportedly keen on signing the Brazilian, while there is also talk of interest from Watford.
Roma are keen to get him off their books as they want to generate funds for their own transfer plans and it seems Peres could end up in Turkey this month.
According to Italian daily Il Tempo, Roma sporting director Monchi has opened talks with Galatasaray, who are keen to take Peres to the Turkish Super Lig in January.
Roma are hoping to reach an agreement with the Turkish giants and finalise the Brazilian defender’s departure from the club.
Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian is a top target for the club, but a move for his hinges on Peres leaving Roma in the winter window.
It remains to be seen whether Brighton look to make a decisive move for Peres and compete with Galatasaray for his signature.
