Jim Harbaugh and his University of Michigan football team are visiting Italy on a week-long “special educational and football experience,” and they seem to be enjoying their time the foreign country already.
Harbaugh and his Wolverines arrived in Rome on Sunday morning and hit the ground running once they landed. The Michigan team has had a strict schedule since their arrival, but with their head coach at the helm, there’s been plenty of opportunities for some fun.
The team has already visited the Borghese Gardens, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
On Monday, the team managed to squeeze in some shopping time at a local mall. Harbaugh took the time as an opportunity to toss the football with one of the members of the team, but was promptly scolded by a security guard.
We’re only two days into Michigan’s trip to the holy city of Rome, and it’s already
We’ll just have to wait and see what the rest of the week has in store.
We're touring Rome during our second day in the city – hydration is key. 💦 pic.twitter.com/KiRNPowWZl
