Ferrari will unveil their challenger for the 2016 Formula One World Championship shortly.
In the next hour Ferrari’s Official Website will broadcast a live stream of the teams official car launch.
The launch is hotly anticipated as Ferrari are expected to take the challenge to Mercedes in 2016.
Led by two former F1 World Champions with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, the Italian outfit are desperate to go wheel-to-wheel with reigning champion Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg on a regular basis.
Ferrari’s power-unit was much improved throughout 2015, so if those gains have continued into 2016, then Ferrari could well have closed the horse-power gap to Mercedes.
Ferrari hope to have achieved this via a new layout of their power unit.
Ferrari are also believed to have developed a new pushrod front suspension system and a narrower gearbox.
Aerodynamics are also expected to have had an overhaul with a shorter nose, lower sidepods and a move to a narrower ‘coke bottle’ rear end.
